Environmental Policy (EP)
QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL, SAFETY & HEALTH POLICY
ALPS ELECTRIC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD., shall provide excellent quality and environmental friendly product for the satisfaction of our customer.
- Quality Comes First. Quality is defined by our customers. Realizing this quality is the foundation of our success, we apply the principle of 'Quality Oriented Operation' to meet all requirements and expectations.
- Kaizen. Everybody in ALPS, from workers to top management, recognizes that each of us are responsible for quality, environment, safety and health that customer expects. We work as one team to continuously improve quality, environmental, safety and health performance through monitoring, review and proactive actions, include consultation and participation of workers.
- We protect the environment through the use of technologically advances business practices and the effort of our employees, by preventing pollution, promoting sustainable development and provides a framework for setting environmental objectives.
- We eliminate hazards and reduce risk, by promoting healthy and safe working condition for prevention of work related injury and ill health for all employees, contractors and visitors.
- We comply to applicable legislation, regulations, customer & other requirements.
Environmental Budgeting (EB)
Budgeting was reviewed by yearly basis and total budgeting is under Quality Assurance (QA) Department which are consider also on ISO 14001 audit. QA expenses for Sustainable environment for Year 2025 is about RM41,360. Expenses basically for maintaining ISO14001:2015 certification and XRF machine maintenance and license. Any additional item which are related with environmental program such as environment compliance, sampling and monitoring, etc. will be proceed under related business unit budget.
