Alps Alpine Announces End of Production at Tianjin Alps Electronics

Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. (TSE: 6770; President & CEO: Toshihiro Kuriyama) discontinued production activities at affiliate Tianjin Alps Electronics Co., Ltd., China, on November 23, 2021.
Alps Alpine established Tianjin Alps Electronics in 1995 as a
joint venture with Tianjin Zhonghuan Huaxiang Electronic Co., Ltd. for the
purpose of manufacturing precision tools and related parts. Over the years,
the company has produced electronic components for products including
computers, gaming equipment and automobiles. Production activities at
Tianjin Alps Electronics have now ceased.
Supply of electronic components previously produced at Tianjin
Alps Electronics will continue with the affiliate’s functions transferred to
Dalian Alps Electronics Co., LTD. and Dandong Alps Electronics Co., LTD..
