On July 2nd, Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. (TSE: 6770; President & CEO: Toshihiro Kuriyama) entered into a joint venture agreement with the Indian company Lumax Auto Technologies Ltd. In August, the two companies will establish a 50:50 stakes joint venture company in India, with the aim of building a basis for expanding automotive business in the Indian market in the future. The name of the new company will be "Lumax Alps Alpine India Private Limited".

Through the partnership with Lumax who has extensive experience in automotive business in India, we aim to expand the businesses of both companies and contribute to the development of the Indian automobile industry.
