The impact of the Fukushima Prefecture offshore Earthquake that occurred on February 13 on our business activities is as follows.
There was damage to equipment at some production bases, but the restoration work has now been completed and the plants are operating normally.
Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. Wakuya Plant
Some restorations were needed due to
damage on the water pipes. The operations were temporarily stopped but have
since resumed.
Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. Taira Plant
Due to damage on the pure water
generator, pure water could not be supplied to the line and the operations
were partially stopped.
The restoration work is now completed and the
operations have resumed.
