The impact of the Fukushima Prefecture offshore Earthquake that occurred on February 13 on our business activities is as follows.
There were no casualties in our employees but there was damage to equipment at some production bases. Restoration work is underway.
Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. Wakuya Plant
Some restorations were needed due to
damage on the water pipes. The operations were temporarily stopped but have
since resumed.
Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. Taira Plant
Due to damage on the pure water
generator, pure water could not be supplied to the line. Operations were
stopped and restoration work is in progress.
Operations are scheduled
to resume on February 18th.
No damage to the production activity due to this earthquake has been reported at the moment.
