CEO Message

Shaping a future where technology extends your senses

Advances in technologies such as AI and robotics are bringing society to a major turning point. While automation and the use of data are increasingly supporting our daily lives and work, the growing sophistication and complexity of technology may prevent some people from fully benefiting from it. This is why we believe it is important not only to pursue advanced technologies, but also to implement them in society in ways that allow everyone to use them naturally, without being conscious of their complexity, and enjoy the benefits they bring.

With this in mind, Alps Alpine has set forth its Vision 2035, “Shaping a future where technology extends your senses.” We envision a world where human sensibilities and things are seamlessly connected. We seek to accurately capture people’s conditions and intentions and convey them to AI and machines, while communicating complex information from AI and machines to people in an intuitive and easy-to-understand manner. By advancing this two-way communication, we aim to create a future in which people and technology interact naturally and enhance one another.

At the heart of this vision is multimodal sensing, which combines our expertise in Human Machine Interface (HMI), cultivated since our founding, with a diverse range of sensing technologies, software, algorithms, and IC design technologies. By more accurately capturing the conditions of people, objects, and the surrounding environment and transforming the information into forms that are easy to use, we will expand the value we provide beyond the Digital Cabin in mobility to areas such as robotics and human assistance. By combining the technologies we have refined over many years, we will continue to create unique products and solutions that contribute to solving social issues.

At the same time, as CEO, it is my responsibility to translate the potential of our technologies into sustainable business growth and enhanced corporate value. Building on the foundation established through our management structural reforms, we will pursue ROIC-focused management and transform our business and product portfolios, strategically allocating management resources to areas where we can leverage our strengths. Through investment in human capital and enhanced manufacturing competitiveness, we will also build an organization that can swiftly capture insights from the front lines, make prompt decisions, and take action.

Guided by our corporate philosophy, “Alps Alpine innovates value for humans and society on a brighter planet,” we will continue to create innovations that exceed expectations and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. We will also communicate our goals and progress transparently to our stakeholders and earn their trust through steady growth.
