Enables Initial IoT Evaluation with Minimum Resources
Alps Electric and MODE to Launch Sensor Cloud Evaluation Service
Alps Electric Co., Ltd. (TOKYO: 6770; President: Toshihiro Kuriyama) and MODE, Inc. (California, United States; CEO: Gaku Ueda) have executed a letter of intent and will be launching a Sensor Cloud Evaluation Service. The service enables quick and easy initial IoT cloud evaluation with minimum resources. The launch is scheduled for August 1, 2017 and the package will be available from Mouser, Alps Electric’s distribution partner.
The Sensor Cloud Evaluation Service package consists of:
- Gateway Hardware
- Gateway
Software
- IoT Sensor Network Module (provided by Alps Electric)
- Cloud Evaluation Service (provided by
MODE).
The price of the package is around $500 and customers will be able to use the Cloud Evaluation Service for 90 days without any additional usage fee. At the end of the evaluation period, customers can discuss with MODE any specific modifications and additional functions desired, with terms and conditions to be agreed upon.
