Overseas Sales Network Strengthened
Alps Electric North America Opens Representative Office in Seattle and Alps Electric Establishes Overseas Affiliate Alps Electric Vietnam
Alps Electric has moved to expand overseas business with the opening of a representative office in Seattle, Washington, in July this year and the establishment of overseas affiliate Alps Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Hanoi in August.
Alps Electric affiliate Alps Electric (North America), Inc. (California, U.S.A.; President: Hiroyuki Sato) established a representative office in Seattle, Washington, in July 2015 for the purpose of expanding IT-related business and generating new business in the West Coast region of the United States.
Then in August Alps Electric established Alps Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd., turning its Vietnam office in Hanoi, opened in August 2014 as a representative office of Alps Electric (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Nilai, Malaysia; President: Eiichi Domon), into an overseas affiliate. Alps Electric Vietnam’s main purpose is to sell products for integration into smartphones and motorcycles.
Alps Electric is currently working to increase overseas business and cultivate new overseas markets and customers. By establishing new bases in Vietnam, which is enjoying ongoing economic development, and on the U.S. West Coast, a region continually churning out new IT-related businesses, Alps Electric intends to strengthen its overseas sales network and bring about additional sales growth.
